Frank Features.

Frank Sizing.

Our modern cloth nappies are designed to fit most babies from birth to toilet training (approximately 4kg -16.5kg). They have three rows of rise snaps to adjust the fit around the legs (many brands have only 2), allowing for a snug fit on newborn legs, and comfort for the chubbiest of thighs.

Stay-Dry Features

Our nappies feature a stay-dry suede-feel cloth lining on the inside. The space between the outer layer and the stay-dry lining forms a 'pocket', where inserts can be placed. Urine passes through the stay-dry lining and absorbs into the inserts, keeping baby dry.

Frank nappies feature a polyurethane laminate tummy panel which helps prevent leaks caused by moisture wicking from the top of the nappy onto baby’s clothing.

Natural Fibre Inserts (Absorbency)

Some cloth nappy inserts are simply better than others. We use premium quality natural bamboo terry and bamboo/cotton blend fabrics to ensure the highest absorbency and leak prevention. These natural fibres are safe to sit directly against baby's skin, meaning stuffing the inserts inside the pocket is optional.

Each nappy includes one high GSM bamboo terry six-layer insert with an hourglass shape, and one five-layer bamboo/cotton blend insert which is smaller in size and rectangular in shape. Each insert can be used alone, or both together for heavy wetters and longer time periods.

Materials

Nappy outer shell: 100% polyurethane laminate (PUL)
Nappy inner lining: 100% polyester (suede-feel cloth)
Rectangle newborn/booster insert: bamboo/cotton blend (five layers)
Hourglass insert: 100% bamboo terry (six layers)

Care and Washing Instructions

  • Flush poo into the toilet if possible
  • Hand rinse briefly to avoid smells prior to washing
  • Store in an open, non-porous basket or bucket with high air flow (a small laundry basket is a great choice)
  • Pre-wash nappies daily in a warm short cycle. Use half the amount of detergent recommended for a normal load. This step is very important for getting rid of excess poo and wee prior to cleaning your nappies in the main wash
  • When you have enough nappies to fill your machine (2/3 full), run a long hot wash (40-60 degrees Celsius) using the amount of detergent recommended for heavy soiling
  • Line dry (inserts can be tumble dried).

Following the proper care instructions helps avoid the delamination of the waterproof lining and damage to the elastics.
